Spawned from the seedy underbelly of the Austin music scene, Bob Ray has had his hand in dozens of productions ranging from zines, pirate radio shows, punk & experimental bands, short films and music videos. Growing up in the "live music capital of the world" has given Bob a unique edge that he has captured in such films as Six Pack of Whup-Ass, Cocaine Ninja, Vac-Man, Night of the Kung-Fu Zombie Bastards from Hell!, and Sweet Sweetroll's BadAsssss Spin.

Bob has again pooled his experiences and knowledge of the underground to chronicle the struggles of punk bands in the Austin music scene. His latest adventure, Rock Opera is a feature length comedy-thriller, that document the lives of musicians who struggle to win an audience and fulfill a unique and underappreciated artistic destiny.
