FRIDAY JUNE 24, 1998

I talked with Sandy and Barna, everything’s a-okay.

Barna found out that we can get Tom Kalbfleisch on Tuesday the 28^th, and the weekend of August 1^st (which means we can’t go to the Jett picnic).

We’re locating all the required equipment.

I went to see Voltage at the Hole in the Wall. I saw Gonzo there, he got pretty trashed. I also saw Mark Manthey (he works locally as a grip and gaffer) there, he said he might be able to lend a hand on Tuesday.

Everyone took turns bitching about Jackson. Mark has heard about Jackson, he didn’t seem to want to come out and help because he heard that Jackson was an asshole. Mark asked me what he was working for. I told him, money. Then Mark asked if he was working for his reel. I said he was. So then Mark asked, "Well how does he expect to get work if he’s got a reputation of being such an asshole?"

We lost Daniel, the best grip we had, to a paying job, we might have him for the weekend.

I got drunk .

SATURDAY JULY 25, 1998

Gonzo is sleeping on my couch, he got drunk with, Jerry, Ted and Megan and ended up on my front porch at 4AM.

I need to talk with Rob about his house as a location next week.

I watched movies all day.

SUNDAY JULY 26, 1998

Today , I learned that we are $500 from being broke in the business account. It would be nice to have that check I gave to Jackson back.

I dipped into mine and Nicole’s wedding money that we were saving for our honeymoon, accidentally.

I need to find $2000 so we can finish shooting the film.

I also got a VHS dub of some of the footage.

I went to Cinemaker Co-op meet.

MONDAY JULY 27, 1998

I calculated my current debt:

170 overdrawn from personal account

900 three months back rent (mine and Nicole’s)

150 August rent

5700 credit card bill

+180 owed to Nicole for bills

I talked to Rob, at first he said we couldn’t use the Continental Club next week. They showed up to let us film today, as was the original plan. I neglected to tell Rob that we weren’t filming there today. Actually, I mentioned it on Thursday when I went to the club, but I should have made sure it was clear.

I’m watching the Dennis Rodman versus Karl Malone wrestling match. It’s pretty ridiculous. Dennis and Hulk Hogan beat Karl and some Diamond Dave guy. Some other guy jumped in and cheated.
